Are you living Plan B?
Have you ever made a list of what you wanted your life to look like? Be honest and don’t worry about being selfish. Have you ever written down all of the dreams and goals you wanted https://dream-trading.co.za/1xbet-promo-code-and-deposit-bonus to achieve in life? Most people certainly have goals and dreams but few ever take the time to actually write them down. I assume the reason so few write them down is because they are subconsciously aware they will have to actually do something about it once it’s on paper. Writing a goal or dream on paper removes the ability to gloss over it as if it doesn’t exist. Before making my recent career change, I was living a life full of choices that were no longer aligning with my current value system as a husband and father. Being gone from home almost 40% of the year was no longer something I wanted as part of my life. When I began to prepare to launch into my career off the road, I did two very important things … [Read More...]

The Reality of Marriage
I'm standing in my office today trying to process Christmas orders for my company and I literally can't see because of the tears streaming down my face. I had to stop and write this because I know there are so many who need to hear it. There are 3 couples right now that my wife and I know who are getting a divorce. All three have small children and it breaks my heart. I am not naive enough to believe that there are not extreme circumstances in some situations, but for the most part it's due to one simple word: Selfishness. Here's the deal. When we were single, we had expectations of what marriage would be like. When we got married, some of those were met and many of them were not. That's because most of our expectations were unrealistic and unfair to place on any human being. Years go by and things happen, we meet people, develop relationships and often see things in others that we … [Read More...]

An Experience I Will Never Forget
Just before Thanksgiving, my family and I were exiting a retail store around 8pm when my wife and I noticed a man digging through the trash. His backpack and bicycle beside him, he brought to the surface what others had recently thrown away. I easily recognized two of the bags from local fast food chains. As we got closer to the car, my wife mouthed to me, “Is he going to eat that?” I responded with a nod, and then proceeded to head back to his location. “Hey, my name’s Jeff, what’s your name?” I asked. He responded with a hint of shame, “My name’s Jeff too.” I continued to talk with him and asked if he was looking for food. He replied with embarrassment that he was and he hadn’t eaten 1xbet bonus anything since the day before. I told him with assurance that he would NOT be eating that tonight and we were going to buy him dinner. He started to refuse, but I insisted. I told him to meet us down … [Read More...]

The Answer is Right In Front of You
Do you want to be a better influence to those around you? If you are like most people, the answer is most certainly yes. Do you want to leave more than dust when you die? Chances are you also want to leave a strong legacy that will continue to live far beyond the years you were on this earth. After turning forty earlier this year, I learned something that will change the course of my life forever. It can be summed up in two words: Consistency and faithfulness I’ve always wanted to have a positive influence on others, hoping to encourage them in some way to follow their dreams and live the life God created them to live. It wasn’t until I came off of the road and stopped traveling that I was able to understand how I could be more effective in doing this. My friend, career coach and entrepreneur Dan Miller shared the famous story “Acers of Diamonds” with me a few years ago. This … [Read More...]

Kids are Raised Around the Table
One of the hardest things to do in today’s busy society is to sit around the table with every member of your family and eat an uninterrupted meal together. The inventions of T.V. trays and remote controls have put pressure on being disconnected from one another. We have become less interested in our bundle of joy and more interested in our bundle of electronics. We are rendered almost powerless because of drive-thru restaurants and overly involved children. However, we do have a choice. In my previous career, I was gone an average of 40% of the year. Since coming home, I only venture away to attend a random conference or two and have a yearly anniversary trip with my amazing wife. I now get to be home and sit at the table as often as I choose. We all would agree that time is our most valuable asset. We can’t get it back once it’s gone. That being said, we often don’t act that dream-trading.co.za/1xbet-promo-code-and-deposit-bonus way … [Read More...]
